Booking Terms & Conditions

Once full payment has been received the client
agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Payment in full is due at the time of booking. No contract will be in place and
   sessions will not commence until full payment has been received.
2. Cancellation fees – should the client wish to cancel a booking the following fees will
   be incurred:
   1. Greater than 6 weeks before the booked session – 50% of total fee
   2. Between 2 and 6 weeks before the booked session – 70% of the total fee
   3. Less than 2 weeks before the booked session – 90% of the total fee
3. Refunds are not available in whole or in part for unused lessons due to
   client late arrival, illness, accident, mountain closure, adverse weather
   conditions, mechanical failure, or for any other cause outside the control of
   The Edge Snowsports.
4. The Edge Snowsports reserves the right to cancel a lesson. In this instance a
   refund will be given in full.
5. The Edge Snowsports does not provide insurance for its clients. The Edge
   Snowsports recommends that you arrange an appropriate insurance policy to
   cover your activity.
6. For safety reasons, clients will respect the professional judgement of the ski instructor during the session.
7. Clients should ensure they are in a fit and appropriate condition for physical activity in a mountain environment.
8. The Edge Snowsports declines all liability in the case of an accident that occurs during a session.
9. The ski instructor will wait a maximum of 30 minutes from the session start time at the arranged meeting point unless notified by the client.
10. The appropriate lift pass is obligatory and is not included in the session price.
11. Prices are correct as of August 2009 but are subject to change.
12. Discounts do not apply during peak periods.
13. The contract will be governed by, and construed and interpreted in accordance with, English law.
14. Should the client have a complaint please make it known to The Edge Snowsports immediately. The Edge Snowsports will endeavour to address the situation to your satisfaction.
15. These terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice.

Prize Draw/Offers Terms & Conditions

1. The Edge Snowsports prize draws/offers are open to EU residents over the age of 18, with the exception of The Edge Snowsports employees and employees of the sponsor. The Edge Snowsports only accepts one entry per person into each prize draw/offer unless otherwise stated in the terms and conditions.
2. Certain prize draws/offers may contain special terms and conditions. If applicable these will appear below.
3. All prize draws/offers are subject to a close date.
4. Prize draw/offer winners are selected randomly within 7 days of the close date, unless specified otherwise.
5. Winners will be notified by phone or email within 7 days of the draw.
6. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that the contact details and email address held by The Edge Snowsports are valid and correct.
7. Prizes/offers can only be despatched on confirmation of receipt of notification from the winner, who will be asked to confirm their postal address.
8. Prizes/offers must be claimed within 30 days of each draw unless otherwise stated. Unclaimed prizes/offers will be void. Void prizes/offers may be redrawn and offered to another entrant or offered in another prize draw/offer.
9. The names of all winners will be featured on www.theedgesnowsports.com. Only initial, surname and location will be detailed. However, winners of certain prizes/offers may be required to take part in additional promotional activity.
10. Prize draws/offers are subject to availability. In the event of unavailability an alternative prize/offer of similar value and specification will be substituted.
11. Prizes/offers may not be swapped for an alternative or cash unless this option is offered as an alternative.
12. Prize/offer images are merely an indication and may not exactly represent that offered.
13. Prize/offer values are in accordance with the Manufacturer’s Recommended Price.
14. By participating in a prize draw/offer and submitting information, respondents are agreeing to receive marketing offers from The Edge Snowsports. The Edge Snowsports does not share any of your information with third parties. Participants can deregister themselves at anytime by contacting The Edge Snowsports.
