An Incredible Week!

What an incredible week it’s been in Morzine & Les Gets. Its has been cold bit the conditions have to be some of the best for many years. The pistes have been groomed to perfection all week and they remain in great shape for the forthcoming school holiday week. Off-piste there are still some great areas of powder to explore. Snowfall Report

Last week saw significant snowfall on the higher slopes around Morzine and Les Gets. It’s been reported that Avoriaz had one of the biggest snowfalls across the French Alps which can only be fantastic news!

Another great day in the snow in Morzine & Les Gets!

January 5th, 2009: The temperature dropped today but the sun came out and the snow was perfect. There was a giant slalom competition race featuring some of the best young female skiers in France, including members of the French Team. All this took place on the Pleney slopes.

Savoie Mont-Blanc Grande Odyssée to return to Morzine & Les Gets

November 7, 2008: January 2009 will see the return of the Savoie Mont-Blanc Grande Odyssée dog sledge race to Morzine and Les Gets. It’s a long-distance husky dog competition which journeys through the Portes du Soleil between 10th and 14th January, featuring some of the top dog teams from around the world. See the dogs and mushers up close and personal whilst they fly through the village!
