About Les Gets

Les Gets is a picturesque village situated at the western edge of the vast
Portes du Soleil ski area which links 14 resorts in France and Switzerland. It’s a
mix of old Savoyard farmhouses and beautiful modern day chalets which makes
Les Gets a far cry from the purpose-built concrete resorts found in may areas of
the Alps.

There’s a vast array of stunning tree-lined runs and more challenging slopes which
make it a fantastic destination for all ages and all levels. Les Chavannes can be
found on one side of the village which provides access to a wide open beginner’s
area and ‘The Bowl’ with its varied terrain. On the other side of Les Gets is Mont Chery
where the fresh groomed slopes often remain quiet and provide some fantastic red
and black runs as well as a very popular snowpark.

Once you’ve come down off the slopes you can take a wander through
boutique-style shops or perhaps grab a beer or a vin chaud from one of the
numerous relaxing bars in town.

Les Gets is a resort that sees people coming back for more year after year which
is testimony to the excellent facilities, services and snow… if you haven’t
experienced Les Gets then it’s a ‘must’ for all!
