February 26th, 2009: You see some memorable ski suits on the slopes from time to time – perhaps some ’80s fluoro all in ones or even some tight figure hugging racing salopettes. What you don’t often see is someone straight from The Round Table out for a slide!

Wild Weather

February 11th, 2009: After loads of snow on Sunday, the conditions on Monday were absolutely perfect. Fresh powder everywhere! Then on Tuesday, the wild weather came in and we had quite a storm. High winds meant things were pretty eventful. The winds soon calmed down towards the evening and yet more snow fell – over 12 inches again! The skies cleared today and we had another perfect blue sky powder day. Awesome!

The Balloons Fly Through!

February 6th, 2009: The day started quite mild but the temperature started to drop by the afternoon. It’s trying to snow – hopefully it’ll come in tonight and give us a little top-up. Before the cloud came in we got up close and personal with some hot air balloons!

Light snowfall in Morzine & Les Gets

February 2nd, 2009: Whilst parts of the UK have come to a complete standstill, everything is as per normal in Morzine and Les Gets! The snow that has fallen here is light and powdery which has been a treat to ski in. The pistes are relatively quiet which means no waiting for lifts.
