It might seem like the summer is still lingering but in Austria thoughts have already turned to winter! Today sees the opening of the Pitztal Glacier for the new season so if you’re not content with visiting a snow dome you could always jump on a plane and try out the new snow-making technology which apparently churns out snow even in positive temperatures!
